about Me
I'm a licensed psychotherapist (she/her/hers) who has been working with clients since 2010, and I love what I do. In that time, I've had the chance to focus my training and my work on a few specialties. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Somatic Psychotherapy, which is a type of therapy that includes working with how the body can hold both our distress and our healing. I've learned that listening to and letting the body be a part of therapy can help you have more tools, more healing, and more lasting change. I've incorporated this with a focus on healing trauma and dissociation, supporting those with anxiety disorders, and those healing from eating disorders.
I live in Ithaca, NY. When I'm not sitting with you in session, I like to be outside in all seasons. Usually I am also working on project of some kind, whether it's a creative project or an athletic one, I love the process!
